Immersive.

This is a music video I like, made for the song by Eric Prydz - Niton (The Reason). It was created by a company called immersive. I really like all the trippy things going on in the animation and the futuristic feel it has to it, I think its rotoscoped (correct me if im wrong). They have also designed sets and lightshows for live performers such as Deadmau5, M.A.N.DY & Pendulum. Their work is mostly in 3D even their designs for performers sets, they designed the first 3D visuals for a live DJ set for Eric Prydz's 'EPIC' show in brixton. This is the storyboard for my animatic. It gives you a good idea of how my animation is going to look.

Gonna' Get The Monster.

This is a very simple character I have done for my 2D animation. I really like this character, sort of reminds me of a face hugger off alien, it'll be filled with colour soon enough and should look pretty sweet in my final animation.

Scratch On Film Tests

I done these in a session last week when me and my class were learning about using film strips to animate. I didnt find my short film to be very successful, but when we put everyones films together it looked really good. I used red ink to dye the film, bleach to make some of the film clearer and a pin to scratch images into it. Im not a big fan of this technique but its always interesting to learn new techniques.
