Compositing onto footage using After Effects.
In this CAAD session we were learning how to use After Effects to composite 2D onto live footage. The footage was Paul dancing. Which was rather funny to watch. I decided to create a basic slug head (because I like slugs). To get rid of the Green Screen we had to use Keylight. this means that Paul will look like he is standing in whatever background I choose, in this case a car park. I placed my slug head into After Effects. I then re-sized it to fit Paul's body. It was then simply a case of moving and keyframing the head to move with Paul's body. The final outcome was hilarious because I decided to go mental and add loads of different Paul's.
