This was a project where I had to create a script, storyboard and model sheets for my animation. I came up with the character Infectiouz, a robot who comes down to earth and turns people into monsters.
Strengths - I feel that my strengths have bin using illustrator to create my character. I didn't really have a final design for the robot so I drew a rough crap character and scanned it in. I traced over the top of it using the pen tool and it turned out really well. I definitely think that my illustrator skills have improved dramatically and I am very confident with the pen tool. I have improved in colouring using photoshop as well.
Weaknesses - Planning and development work is a big weakness. I had done no development in the build up to the design of this character. I tended to settle for how the robot looked with flat colour, I didn't really try experimenting until I got shown to.
